This week (September 22–25, 2025) has been a juicy one — we had Sony’s State of Play drop major reveals and new gameplay footage, including looks at Marvel’s Wolverine, and more. In short: this week gave us everything from blockbuster announcements to oddball surprises — so strap in, because here’s what to watch.

Jester: A Foolish Ritual

Get another look at Jester: A Foolish Ritual in this latest trailer for the upcoming co-op survival horror game. Play as one of four knights, resurrected in an abandoned castle. Search for hidden runes, unlock the way forward and finish the ritual before the Jester hunts you down. Jester: A Foolish Ritual will be available on PC, and a demo is out now on Steam.

Deadly Days: Roadtrip

Take a look at the Early Access Launch Trailer for Deadly Days: Roadtrip, an isometric action roguelike developed by Pixelsplit. Players will set off on a deadly road trip to take on hordes of zombies. Manage fuel, collect inventory, and fight to escape the undead. Deadly Days: Roadtrip is available now in Early Access for PC (Steam).

ARC Raiders

Watch the Pre-Order Trailer for ARC Raiders, a third-person extraction shooter developed by Embark Studios. Players will venture off into a shared open world to loot, battle, craft, and more in an unforgiving future Earth. Raiders can soon partake in the upcoming Server Slam from October 17 through October 19, completely free with no registration required on consoles and PC. ARC Raiders is launching on October 30 for PlayStation 5 (PS5), Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store).

The Midnight Barber

The Midnight Barber is a narrative rhythm game set in a supernatural version of Barcelona during Spain’s transition to democracy. You play as Clara, a water maiden who runs a midnight barbershop for the enchanted. Each haircut follows a rhythm. Each conversation pulls at deeper truths. Through the mirror, Clara can reveal her clients’ inner demons, some of which are connected to a dangerous conspiracy, and a figure known only as El Coco (The Bogeyman). Check out The Midnight Barber trailer for this upcoming narrative rhythm mystery in supernatural 1970s Barcelona. The Midnight Barber will be available on PC, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation in 2026.

Forgotten Eras

Take a look at the Forgotten Eras cinematic trailer for this upcoming Slavic folklore-inspired 2.5D Metroidvania. Guide Ivan and the Grey Wolf through a mythic kingdom, wield runes, solve puzzles, and face legends such as Domovoy and Baba Yaga reborn in a stylized, atmospheric world. Forgotten Eras will be available on PC.

Devour: The Carnival

Step into the creepy world of Devour: The Carnival in this teaser trailer for the upcoming new map coming to the co-op horror survival game for 1-4 players. In Devour, stop possessed cultists before they drag you to hell. Run. Scream. Hide. Just don’t get caught. The Devour: The Carnival update will be available on PC on October 15, 2025.

Mythrealm

Check out the Early Access Release Date Announcement Trailer for Mythrealm, a third-person action-adventure RPG developed by Delta Video Games. Players will embody Alaris on a quest to save captured Wizards and put an end to the Demon invasion in Aroloria. Engage in deep melee-based combat, make use of different skillsets, and more in Mythrealm, launching into Early Access on October 27 for PC (Steam).

Bloodthief

Bloodthief is available now on PC via Steam. Watch the Bloodthief launch trailer for this first-person melee action game. Parkour your way through medieval dungeons at implausibly fast speeds as an impossibly powerful vampire with a taste for vengeance and blood. With wicked swipes of your blade and swift kicks, vanquish your helpless foes and drink their blood to go faster. Use your momentum to perform impressive jumps and wallruns like the acrobatic vampire you are.

Valorborn

Don’t miss the Announcement Trailer for Valorborn, a medieval fantasy sandbox RPG developed by Laps Games. Players will chart out a new life for themselves in the wilds of the medieval ages. Scavenge food, find materials, and more to carve out a plethora of lives from a blacksmith’s apprentice to a wandering merchant. Valorborn is launching into Early Access in Q3 2025 for PC (Steam).

It Has My Face

Check out the Early Access Launch Trailer for It Has My Face, a first-person action horror roguelite developed by NightByte Games. Players will find themselves unlike ever before by hunting their clone in a mysterious dystopian city. Explore pixel-based atmospheric environments and find oneself in It Has My Face, available now in Early Access for PC (Steam).

Wizordum

Take a look at the Console Launch Trailer for Wizordum, a retro first-person boomer shooter developed by Emberheart Games. Players will set out to face the source of Chaos at all costs. Make use of an array of weapons, items, and spells to progress through Terrabruma. Wizordum is available now for PlayStation 4 (PS4), PlayStation 5 (PS5), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, alongside the release on PC (Steam).

Afterblast

Check out the Release Date Trailer for Afterblast, an action first-person roguelite shooter developed by Lumino Games. Players will set off alone or with friends in vibrant locales with an arsenal of weapons and abilities to take on waves of opposition. Head into randomly generated dungeons to save the planet on Afterblast, launching on November 7 for PC (Steam).

Captain Wayne: Vacation Desperation

Don’t miss the Release Date Trailer for Captain Wayne: Vacation Desperation, a hand-drawn first-person boomer shooter developed by Ciaran Games. Players will engage in over-the-top, non-stop action as Captain Wayne on an anything but normal holiday cruise. Dispatch a suite of wacky enemies, make good use of his shotgun arm, and lay waste to the Balena Resort. Captain Wayne: Vacation Desperation is launching on November 25 for PC (Steam), with a demo available now on Steam.

Beneath

Take a look at the ‘No Way Out’ Demo Launch Trailer for Beneath, a Lovecraftian survival first-person shooter developed by Camel 101. Players will embark on a narrative-driven single-player campaign to take on nighmarish adversaries up close and personal. Utilize an armory of weapons in intense action to seek the truth behind an evil conspiracy that threatens mankind. Beneath is launching in Fall 2025 for PlayStation 5 (PS5), Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam) with a demo available now.

Slime Rancher 2

Take a look at the Launch Trailer for Slime Rancher 2, a first-person open-world adventure game developed by Monomi Park. Players will set course across the Slime Sea and straight to Rainbow Island, an ancient land with plenty to see and explore. The game has entered Version 1.0 alongside a suite of features, including endgame content, the return of drones, new areas to explore, new slimes to discover, gadgets, and more. Slime Rancher 2 is available now for PlayStation 5 (PS5), Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store).

Sobakistan: The Land of Dogs

Sobakistan: The Land of Dogs gets a new trailer and a playtest announcement. Get a fresh look at gameplay from Sobakistan: The Land of Dogs in this latest trailer for the upcoming darkly satirical narrative game set in a closed-off totalitarian dog-state, told through the eyes of six playable characters. The new Sobakistan: The Land of Dogs trailer showcases the game’s core mechanic: in Sobakistan, any step could land you in prison. Whether it’s talking to the wrong person, picking up a leaflet, or simply standing where you shouldn’t—there are 27 different ways to get arrested in the demo alone. Sobakistan: The Land of Dogs will be available on PC, and sign-ups are available now on Steam for the limited public Playtest, scheduled to launch in October 2025.

Join Nai, a brave Manairó, and save the village of Vilamont from the control of the greedy Llorenç. Watch the Manairons announcement trailer for this upcoming action-adventure 3D platformer game. Manairons will be available on PC and consoles, and a demo is out now on Steam.

Double Dragon Revive

The classic side-scrolling beat ’em up returns in the form of Double Dragon Revive, complete with over 50 mission types. Its coming October 23, 2025 to Xbox, PlayStation, PC, and Switch.

Project Evilbane

The battle to defeat the Archdemon’s forces and defend the world of humanity awaits in Project Evilbane, a solo and co-op action game set in the remains of a ruined world.

Halloween

Stop Michael Myers or become him when Halloween comes to PS5 on September 8, 2026.

Becrowned
